I'm surprised at the reviews that this store has nice customer service. There was a young girl at the register that was extremely rude to my disabled son. I get that not everyone is going to understand or a friendly person but to be outright mean is unacceptable. Maybe retrain your workers on how to be nice since they are working with people.
This grocery store has everything! The selection is great and the prices are very good. The quality and variety of the pre-made food was excellent!
This Big Y is absolutely disgusting! The service absolutely sucks, and staff is so rude and disrespectful. They called the cops on a lovely gentleman who was not in anyone’s way, playing a violin outside. I’ve also heard some disturbing racial remarks from staff talking amongst themselves about customers.

This place has some rough days. So many associates were grumpy last week, and I often wonder how management is treating them. But today was like walking into a totally different store. Shout out to Kirk at the deli for helping me keep shopping (I work for instacart) getting that extra time to get items is prime! Second shout out to Aden stocking the shelves! He took a moment while he was busy to see that I needed a product (I was waiting patiently for him to finish) not only acknowledged me, but was incredibly friendly and loaded the packs of water onto my cart. Getting this level of service is incredibly rare in general but twice in the same day? Amazing! Thank you guys!

Prices are slightly higher than other supermarkets. Very upset when took away the 10% senior discount on Tuesdays. Since then I don't buy as much and the discounts they give now are very small. A lot of their coupons are digital and a lot of elderly don't have the type of phone to do that so they miss out. Also their baggers don't know the difference between the bags and insulated bags and have to be told. 6/23 Nothing has changed from above but when they have sales they are good but again a lot are digitsl.8/23 cashiers are very friendly. 10/21/23 nothing has changed,again good sales when they have them 12/28/23 cashiers very friendly but new baggers are not taught difference between insulated and non insulated bags or heavy vs medium.
They are young and can easily lift the bags but older shoppers have a hard time.
